The Beer Spot is gearing up to celebrate the silly season in style at Coast with party nights planned for both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

“It’s a Coast tradition to have a party on Christmas Eve,” says Ben Kelsey, one of the owner operators of The Beer Spot.

The event will cater for groups and families and anyone who is keen should book a table now so they don’t miss out.

Delicious Japanese cuisine will be available from Ramen Takara, who will be cooking up a storm in the food truck, The Beer Spot Radio will be on playing everyone’s favourites and rumour has it, Santa may even pop in!

The Beer Spot will also be a great place to see in 2021 (and say a heartfelt see ya later to 2020) – there’s no cover charge, there are 40 taps of beer and 40 taps of wine to choose from and Europe Central Kitchen will be sending out gourmet schnitzel sandwiches with a variety of beautiful salad toppings on prime quality artisan bread from the food truck.

Ben recommends booking a table ahead of the big night.

But you don’t have to wait for Christmas to enjoy a fun night out with a few friends at Coast.

On the second Monday of every month, The Beer Spot offers beer tastings in partnership with its nominated brewer of the month. For $25, you get to taste six beers (usually with a couple of extras thrown in).

Or test your trivia talent at Tuesday’s Quiz Night – it’s free to enter, you can have up to eight people on a team and there are spot prizes throughout the evening. The winning team gets a box of box of beers from that month’s Brew Buddy to toast their success.
